What Is the Difference Between Mediation and Online Mediation?

Mediation is a process of third-party involvement in a dispute. A mediator cannot impose an outcome but rather assists the disputing parties in reaching their own agreement.  In both scenarios, a mediator helps you and the other party communicate and negotiate a mutually acceptable agreement. However, in online mediation, all communications between the mediator and the parties take place by video conference, phone or email.
